Martial Arts Classes in Swift Current
Self-defense is a serious subject, but this is not the army, it is a classroom and we have fun while learning. Even the strongest building can’t stand on a weak foundation. That is why we support each other in class because you can only learn and grow if you have a strong support system to stand on. Come and meet like-minded individuals, engage with other members of your community, and have some fun!

Classes for kids
Children need lots of activity to use all the energy they have and grow up healthy and strong. But learning a martial art is much more than that. It also starts a child on a lifelong path of enjoying physical activity in a positive atmosphere.

Training Mind & Body
What do you want to gain from your free time? Do you want to be in better shape, have more confidence, relieve stress, improve awareness, or learn a new set of skills? If you answered yes to any of these possibilities, then you have come to the right place. Swift Current Karate Club is here to provide the people of Swift Current with a place to improve their health, have fun, and forget about the outside world for a while. Many people believe that joining a martial arts center like Swift Current Karate Club means that you will have to spar, which can turn people away from an activity that otherwise has everything they are looking for. This is not true. Sparring only occurs for those who wish to participate. If you live in Swift Current and are looking for way to stay fit, meet new people, and improve yourself,
then contact us today to try one of our classes.
If you feel you need discipline, higher levels of self-awareness, increased levels of focus and concentration and overall a way to live within this world more peacefully and with self confidence, I strongly suggest Swift Current Karate Club.
I trained in this Club under instructor Graham Guthrie during my childhood, from age 13-17 and have recently rejoined on my own terms.
The reason I've rejoined is because I finally came to realize exactly how many benefits it added to my life. It helps me maintain a level of calm in my day to day social interactions and helps me increase my self confidence to do things that scare me as well as find my true identity. Sensei Guthrie once taught my dad as a teenager and now, again, myself which is a testament to his dedication to the art he lives and breathes.
With a lot to say and the space to not, if you want to learn what I've stated and far more than I know, consider this as a very good option. Train hard and have fun!
